SLAAN Inaugural Ceremony – May 8, 2026

The Sri Lanka Association for Animal Nutrition (SLAAN) will host its Inaugural Ceremony on Friday, May 8, 2026, at The Grand Kandyan Hotel, Kandy.

This milestone event marks the official launch of SLAAN and highlights its commitment to advancing animal nutrition in Sri Lanka through collaboration between academia and industry. The program is organized with sponsorship from the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC), a global leader in promoting sustainable soy-based solutions.

The event will feature an inaugural session, keynote addresses, and technical presentations by both local and international experts. Contributions from USSEC representatives will focus on innovations in soybean utilization, feed efficiency, and cost optimization in animal nutrition.

Key highlights include:

• Welcome and overview speeches by SLAAN leadership 
• Official launch of the SLAAN website and introduction of office bearers 
• Addresses by government and industry stakeholders 
• Technical sessions on animal nutrition and feed formulation, including USSEC-led presentations
